First let me just start out by saying how amazing my husband is. He does so much for me and doesn't complain. The last few weeks have flown by, and a lot has happened since then. Patrick has been working at a payday loan place for a couple years and has never enjoyed it. He was going to school, so was only working part time. Well, this last semester he didn't have any classes so started looking for another job. After not really finding much, he finally settled for Sears delivery, just to help save up a little before our baby comes. Well.....lets just say that didn't work out. He worked there for about 3 weeks, and I hated it, no reason why. He didn't really enjoy it because they weren't great about working with his other job schedule and he often had to work late hours, way more than scheduled. He was getting burned out very quickly working 50-60 hours a week. No fun! Well, we kept looking for other jobs and decided to just apply for an MIS job at ICON. This job was full time, benefits etc. He had also applied for Grad School at Utah State and was waiting to hear back about acceptance. We were only planning on him working part time, but couldn't figure out how to work it all out with a baby coming.Preface: We have been praying and thinking about my job for a few months and kept feeling like I shouldn't work, but couldn't logically make it all work out on paper. Well, lets just say that we took a HUGE leap of faith and told my boss that I wouldn't be back to work. I was kind of freaking out because I really like to have everything planned out. Well, right after the interview, I mean only about an hour, they called and offered him the job. It was perfect. I know that Heavenly Father is always watching out for us, but sometimes its hard to recognize, especially when I was so worried about everything. It was a huge blessing. He has been working there for a few weeks now and really enjoys it. And...I am so excited to be able to stay home with our little girl.On Saturday, Patrick graduated with a bachelors degree from the College of Business in MIS-training and development. I am so proud of him. Our families came up and we went to Texas Roadhouse-I love this place! Then off to graduation. Here are some pictures.

We had been checking the mail everyday for a letter about grad school and nothing had come. I just figured it would come in the mail...right? Well, Patrick checked his email and there it was. AN ACCEPTANCE LETTER! Yeah, another huge blessing. He got accepted for Fall semester in the Instructional Technology program. Patrick doesn't love school and it took a long time to decided to apply for grad school. He really enjoys his program, just ready to be done. But after much deliberation, we found that grad school was the way to go, and the time was right now. I am so proud of him for getting accepted. He is going to be working full time and doing school in the Fall. Wish us luck! ICON has been really great about working with school as well. A lot of his classes will be offered at night, but there are a few during the day and they say that it won't be a problem to get it off.
The last couple of weeks I have been really stressed about our apartment being ready for a baby. I just don't have any motivation to do anything around here:) Patrick has done so much and never complains about it at all. I appreciate all the things he does around here and love him so much! He had a few hours off on Thursday and this is what he did.

We have a shower with sliding doors-I hate these, cause they always seem grimy. Well, we decided we wanted them off for when our baby comes because it was going to be really hard to give baths with the doors on. I love it! I don't know if you can see really well from the picture, but the rod and hangers are perfect. He even called my mom to get some ideas and make sure she thought I would like it. I was so surprised. I just can't say how much I love, appreciate and a so proud of this man!
