We LOVE Halloween around here and get super excited thinking about costumes for the kids a couple of months in advance. This year when I asked Ellie she immediately said she wanted to be Ariel, which was perfect since we already have an Ariel costume! She never changed her mind whenever anyone would ask it was always Ariel. We had our Ward Halloween party with games and chili cook off. It was great and yummy! Ellie was Ariel and Gavin was the cutest little puppy ever. He LOVES dogs right now and gets so excited whenever he sees one. He even kept his hood on a lot of the time! We had a great time and got our pictures taken at the photo booth.
On Halloween Jenny and I took the kids to Village Inn for breakfast
and then to get a free cupcake from Sweet Tooth Fairy.
We had a great time and the kids got free pumpkin pancakes for dressing up. So funny, that morning when I went to get Ellie's costume, she decided she wanted to be Rapunzel! She was so set on Ariel the entire time and then said she had already been Ariel and needed to be a different princess. So, she was Rapunzel.
Patrick's work is huge on Halloween and so later that day we headed up to his work to go trick or treating. It is always pretty fun to see the whole place decked out and have everyone meet the family. Before we left, Ellie decided to be.....Cinderella! Such a funny little girl. We got her all dressed up for trick or treating and she looked beautiful.
After we got home, we grabbed some dinner and headed out to trick or treat around our neighborhood.
We made sure to take the wagon so Gavin didn't have to walk the entire way, he walked a lot of it though.
Tonight Gavin didn't want his hood on at all, so people kept thinking he was a cow:( But he was still super cute. We had a great time taking the kids around and they LOVED getting so much candy.
Beautiful Princess Cinder"Ellie"
