Happy Belated Easter!
I know it is a little....a lot late to be posting about Easter, but I wanted to anyways. We had a great Easter weekend this year with General Conference being on the same weekend. We normally head down to parents houses for the weekend, but decided this year to stay home. Conference was very good this year. I really feel like they were hitting hard on the family and keeping up spiritually with teaching your children. It was very good. I grew up having Ham and funeral potatoes for Easter, so I decided to go all out and make that too. Lets just say we have tons of leftover ham in our freezer:) It turned out really good though. I have always loved coloring Easter Eggs each year. This year I found a tie dye kit and decided to go for it. Here are the results.

Out with the Old and in with the New!
This lovely 1996 Subaru Impreza was my very first car. I remember getting it in high school and loving everything about it. There were many good times had by all in this car. I even had a box of fun in the trunk(water guns....sidewalk chalk....frisbees...etc) Lets just say it will be greatly missed. About 2 years ago, it stopped working. What can you say when your older brother took it off roading a few times:) It still ran, but was not worth the money to get it fixed and had to be registered the same month, so...it sat in front of our apartment(our manager hated that:) But, it saved us quite a bit of money on our car insurance, enough to keep it for a while at least. Then....my sister Krista decided to get a new car and offered her old one to us(if you remember back a ways, that's how we got our current car too, what can I say, she's awesome). It was my dad's Jeep before it went to her and I have always loved it. We are very excited to introduce our 'new' 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
On a different note...I was really not wanting to post pictures of myself, but I've noticed that it is fun to to see others and also would like to keep a record for myself. So...you all get to enjoy too:)26 Weeks-actually looking like a pregnant belly now(a little strange shaped, but still fun)
I still feel really great. We are feeling her move around so much now, which is very fun. It is nice to know that there is something really there. We have started really looking for baby stuff now and it's becoming more real as the weeks go by. Last week we bought a pack n play and we are hopefully picking up a car seat/stroller and maybe crib tomorrow. It's nice to have a car it will fit in now and so fun to go shopping and pick out all the cute girly stuff. We can't wait for her to arrive in June!

Girls Weekend and a Happy Valentines Day!
Be prepared for lots of pictures in this post:) Last weekend we had a girls weekend. My sister, Krista, mom and me met up in Salt Lake to have a girls weekend. My other sister, Denise and niece, Kelsey, got stuck in Chicago and couldn't make the flight. We missed them tons. Here are some pictures of our adventures. We went to a yummy Italian restaurant called Al Fornos.
Next stop was to The Off Broadway Theatre. We saw a play called The Wicked Wizard of Ahhs! It was pretty funny.
Then back to our. My sister got us all matching red pj's for our girls weekends. We have been talking about it for awhile, but never found any. Aren't they great!
My mom also made us these quilts. She made one a few weeks ago and I loved it. I wanted one so bad and she surprised us with them. She's the best!
The next morning we had breakfast at Mimi's. Have anyone ever eaten there? They have really yummy breakfast and the best hot chocolate ever. I would strongly recommend it:) Then we were off to get pedicures. After some round about directions and a few wrong turns, we found it, Elase Academy in Sandy. It's right by the South Town Mall. Aren't our toes so cute.
My sister also drove her Jeep out because she bought a new car and is giving us the Jeep. Yep....you heard right. We are now the proud new owners of a lovely jeep. I don't have a picture right now, but will get one and post it soon....maybe. We had so much fun. I am really glad that we make time to get together. When I got home Saturday night, Patrick met me with these!
He is the greatest. I love daisy's and tulips and thought these were beautiful. Valentine's morning I woke up to him bringing me breakfast in bed. Blueberry waffles, my current favorite morning food, along with scrambled eggs and grapefruit, another favorite.
That night I tried my hand at fondue making. It turned out okay, but not great. If anyone has any good fondue recipes, I would love them!
I also have to mention, Patrick and I got each other the exact same Valentines card. How does this happen. It just fit us so perfectly I guess. We were laughing for so long. Hope you all had a great Valentines day!

22 Weeks and a Yummy Pie!
Okay, so due to some requests for you to see my lovely belly, here is a picture at 22 weeks(this last Tuesday) I really am not showing much yet and you might not even think I was pregnant if you didn't know, especially with a looser shirt:) I feel really great still. It so much fun to be able to feel our little girl moving and know that she's there. We are so excited. PS. Don't mind the toilet paper in the hallway:)
Last night for Relief Society, Sister Cook taught us how to make pies. It was a ton of fun getting together and actually making a pie, crust and all from start to finish. Here is my finished product. Raspberry/Blackberry Pie. I put a heart in the top for Valentines Day! It was really yummy and not hard at all! I love homemade crust too, so flaky and delicious.

It's a..................................................................
We had our ultrasound this last Thursday. I was nervous about going because I wanted to make sure everything was okay with our baby and I was worried that it would be shy and not reveal its gender. Well.....everything is perfect, but...our baby was very shy...or as the ultrasound tech would say, stubborn. After 45 minutes and some poking and prodding, the ultrasound tech said she was only 60% sure. She had me go to the bathroom and then do some moving around(aka jumping jacks, stretching) anything that would maybe persuade our child to uncross its cute little legs(which was so cute in the ultrasound pics, but makes it extremely hard to tell the gender.) When I came back, they were still crossed, but now at the ankle instead of so tightly. We finally found out that we are having a GIRL! We are both excited and very glad that everything was perfect. The ultrasound was so cool, you can actually see the shape of the face and everything. Here's a picture for you all to enjoy!
I forgot to say how we told our families. It was Patrick's idea and I think it was really cute. We got some pink balloons filled with helium, and put them in a huge box. Then we had some other pink stuff in the box as well-pink frosted cookies(yummy). That way, when our families opened the box, pink balloons flew out everywhere. It was really fun, and both families are extremely excited:)

And then there were three!
So, a few nights ago I was cleaning out some boxes in our spare room and found a picture of me from the my first day in this world. Well...Patrick and I started thinking about what our children were going to look like and I wanted to see some pictures of Patrick when he was born. His mom promptly emailed me some:) We have been comparing ourselves as babies for a while and have found quite a few differences....or so I thought:) I was 7lbs 14oz and he was 6lbs 1oz. I had lots of dark hair, and he always said he had none. We both agree that we were very cute babies. Here are a couple pictures.
Patrick
Look at all his hair. He always told me he didn't have any, I talked to his mom and she said he had quite a bit, which you can see from the picture, but ended up losing a lot of it. So handsome!
Don't I just have some really cute chubby cheeks...even on my first day. I will have to get some pictures of about a year later...lets just say I am pretty sure I had rolls on my rolls. Look at all my hair. It just keeps getting lighter every year, but once, I did start out with dark brown hair:) So cute!
I had to put this cute picture on too, just because...I love the little hat.

I thought it was very appropriate to find this picture right now, because we have been wondering how to make our exciting announcement! That's right. A cute little boy or girl will be joining our family on June 15....or close to that day at least:)

I know everybody says it, but wow the time has flown by. I couldn't find a wedding picture at the moment and it's late and I'm tired, so here's one from when we first started dating:) Maybe tomorrow I will post a few more pictures. Happy 4 years to us!

Top 10 of '10 - Give Away
It is that time of year again where I make a post on our blog. The one time a year. That can only mean one thing. Here are the top 10 movies of 2010.
Since this is our 100th post we will be giving away $15.00 gift card to Westate Theaters (Logan Theaters but there are some others scattered around Utah). All you have to do is comment on your favorite movie of 2009 and what movie you are most excited for in 2010. We will be posting the winner on January 1st! make sure to enter before.
10. Despicable Me
(July 9)- CGI animated with Steve Carrell as the voice.
9. Robin Hood
(May 14)-
Starring Russell Crowe. I am worried that this one could be rated 'R'. If it is then I am sorry to have it on this list but it looks way cool.
8. Disney's Rapunzel
(November 24)-
It is Disney and it is a fairy tale. Need I say more.
7. Date Night
(April 9)-
Starring Steve Carrell and Tina Fey. Both our Thursday Night favorites.
6. Toy Story 3
(June 18)-
Same old cat is back. Hopefully it has a good story line.
5. How to Train Your Dragon
(March 26)-
This is done by the same people that created Kung-Fu Panda. I loved Panda and this looks good too.
4. The Prince of Persia
(May 28)-
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The special effects look great!
3. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
(December 10)-
I love the first two and although Fox is developing this one and not Disney, I am still excited.
2. Iron Man 2
(May 7)-
Iron Man surprised me two years ago and this one looks just as good. I hope it lives up to expectations.
1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)
(November 19)-
I was wrong this year to put The Half Blood Prince and number two or three. It was the best movie of this year. I am hoping that this one lives up to the hype.
Honorable Mentions: The Green Hornet, Clash of the Titans, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Last Airbender, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and from Nicky we have When in Rome and Letters to Juliet

Cents of Style
Don't forget about the "Cents of Style" party tomorrow night. Tuesday, October 27 between 7-9pm. Everyone's invited and I would love to see you there.
The other night I went with a friend to a "Cents of Style" party. I hadn't ever heard of this before, but the invite seemed interesting. Well...I never, ever, buy anything at parties like this and I would never even think of being the host. Needless to say when I left the party, I had a really cute bracelet and a date to host a party:) The thing is, the lady who does it didn't even try to convince me or anything. She just said if I wanted to I could. I decided to do the party because I feel like they have a lot of cute items and none of it is over $20. Most of it is under $15. I thought that was really great. They have, shoes, belts, bags, jewelry, hats etc. I am doing the party on October 27 from 7-9pm at my apartment. Anyone and everyone is invited. I would love to see you all there and will post a reminder when the day gets closer. Here is a website if anyone wants to check out some of there products. www.mycentsofstyle.com

The Pumpkin Patch and a Few New Recipes!
A couple of weeks ago, we ventured out to Paradise for our annual visit to the pumpkin patch. We love going to the pumpkin patch each year. There are so many pumpkins to choose from, we had to get more than a couple:)
Here is Patrick acting like a little kid pulling a wagon!
The Paradise Pumpkin Patch is great because they even provide wagons and snippers to use.
I love to cook, and am always up for trying a new recipe. Here are a few I have tried recently. Pizza twist
My mom got me the Taste of Home Halloween magazine. There are so many fun treats and dinners. I love Halloween and have really been in the mood to make festive foods:)

How To Change A Poopy Diaper
Patrick is taking a couple of classes right now that involve making movies which are mostly for training purposes. This is his first one. As a side note, there are three audio blips in the middle that nobody can seem to fix in iMovie.
