Gavin-8 Months

Gavin is 8 months!  Here are some things about Gavin right now.

• When Gavin gets really excited, he pants like a dog.  It is hilarious
• He started saying the end of March, but on April 6 will now actually say it when he comes to me.  I love that he now associates it with me.  He also says Dada a ton.  He especially says it when he is frustrated or angry.  He will just yell dadadadadada.  It is really funny.
• Gavin is moving like crazy now.  He will pull himself up on everything and goes up the stairs really well.  He still sits back into nothing, so we have to make sure someone is always behind him.  He is getting too fast too soon for me.  Where did my baby go!?!  Because of this, he likes to get into everything.  His favorite is to go into the bathroom and push every bottle/toy into the tub.  Then he laughs and laughs.  The other day I had a bag of shredded paper and he got to it....April 22, 2013

• He loves to eat.  He will eat almost anything, we tried black beans on April 13, and he liked them, but gagged a lot with them.  He did really well with green grapes(with the skin cut off and cut into small pieces)  He really likes to hold a spoon when he eats.  April 20, 2013
  

• Gavin really likes to sleep on a pillow.  I don't ever let him sleep all night on a pillow, but during his naps he sleeps so well.  It is so cute, and I don't mind since I can constantly check on him and make sure he's breathing:)  April 26, 2013
  

• It's so fun to have Gavin in our family and Ellie is such a great big sister to him.  She is so sweet and always watching out for him.  He adores her too!
