Little Sicky

I hate it when my kiddos are sick.  Look at those eyes and that runny nose:(  But...I do love all the snuggles I get when they are sick.  I just wish they didn't have to be sick to get all the cuddles.  

Gavin just had a little cold, but he was miserable!

It Feels Like Home-Visit to Logan

We headed up to Logan for our annual pumpkin carving with the Hales and Pumpkin Walk.  We had a great little vacation and it was fun to be back in Logan for the weekend!  October 25, 2013  Carving pumpkins with the Hales.  The girls painted there pumpkins.  Paige, Ivy, Violet, Ellie

We tried to have them sleep so we could hang out longer, but they just played in Ivy's room:)

 Our lovely pumpkins turned out great this year!

We got a room at Springhill Suites and had a wonderful time.  October 26, 2013  We made sure our room had a little divider so Gavin wouldn't be able to see us and stay awake all night:)  The couch also made into a bed that Ellie slept on.  In the middle of the night, she woke up and I think she didn't realize where she was.  I woke up to her tripping over the carseat and hitting the door.  I jumped up and got her, but she was crying and then slept with us the rest of the night.  Good thing the bed was big and super comfy.

 It was a really nice room and fancy with sliding doors and granite counters!  We also had a yummy hot breakfast!

Swimming was lots of fun and the kids loved it!  It is nice to just relax and play while on vacation.

After swimming Gavin took a little nap so we would be able to make it through the pumpkin walk.

 I am so glad we were able to make a little trip up to Logan and have those fun memories!  Thanks for making time for us Hales.  After the pumpkin walk we went to lunch with Derrick and Bishop and Sister Cook.  I wish I would have gotten a picture:(  We had a yummy lunch at Cafe Sabor and a really great visit with the Cooks!  We love coming to visit!

Bridal Veil Falls

The weather has been so nice that we decided it would be good to get out of the house and up to the canyon.  We went for Family Home Evening one night to feed the fish up at Bridal Veil Falls.  It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed being out in nature.  September 23
